Description
I am excited to advise that the next annual Canadian Evaluation Society conference will be held in Victoria, BC May 2 – 5, 2010. The CES conference is widely attended by members of other evaluation groups. We are affiliated with
the American Evaluation Association, the UK Evaluation Society, the Australian Evaluation Society, the African Evaluation Association, and other similar organizations around the world.

The call for proposals for workshops and presentations is now available at
http://c2010.evaluationcanada.ca/
along with more information about the conference. Deadline for submissions is Dec 11 2009. Registration for the conference will open early in 2010.
I would also like to invite you to consider being a sponsor for this conference.

Additional Information
The theme for this year’s conference is Going Green, Gold, and Global: New Horizons for Evaluation. The conference sub-themes are:
• Going Green – evaluation in the context of managing positive environmental change.
• Going Gold – evaluation of the impacts and effects of programs associated with the 2010 Winter Olympics and striving for excellence in evaluation.
• Going Global – evaluation of programs and policies in the context of BC's international connections.
• New Horizons For Evaluation – exploration of emerging evaluation issues in both theory and practice, particularly in the three main themes I hope that EvalTalk members will submit proposals and register for this conference as one of the highest quality evaluation conferences around the globe.
