Although many of the global partner organizations working to combat the HIV epidemic have their own Web sites, there is no definitive Web site dedicated to global HIV/AIDS monitoring and evaluation (M&E) information. This Web site—www.GlobalHIVMEInfo.org—is a portal for HIV/AIDS M&E resources, and it organizes them in a manner that reflects the nature of M&E work in the field. This site provides both a mechanism for linking the many online HIV M&E resources and a medium for an online community.
This Web site is supported by PEPFAR and is developed and maintained through a collaborative effort led by the US Government agencies implementing PEPFAR and the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), with input from other international partner agencies. The content provided on this Web site is not official US Government or UNAIDS information, and it does not necessarily represent the views of the U.S. Government or UNAIDS.
The supporting agencies for this Web site, including but not limited to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and UNAIDS (hereinafter collectively referred to as the GlobalHIVMEInfo.org Management Team), strongly support freedom of speech and a researcher’s right to publish.
